We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (m/f/d) to proactively develop and manage our third party business with daily tasks based out of our Cologne headquarters.

Your Tasks:

  • manage external customers and accounts in a close collaboration with our technical departments, like aerodynamics, chassis testbench, production, powertrain dynos or driver-in-the-loop simulator
  • be responsible for expanding our customer base by reaching out to new clients and markets
  • this includes handling the entire sales cycle, right up to closing the deal, including lead generation, inquiry processing to portfolio presentation, as well as managing offers, orders and invoices
  • maintain and strengthen relationships to ensure customer retention while also exploring new opportunities on both national and international levels
  • working closely with our technical teams, developing customer solutions and scenarios to ensure client satisfaction and successful project closure 


 The successful candidate will have:

  • a degree with a focus on business and technology or comparable training and education
  • a solid foundation in either technology or business and a genuine interest in sales
  • have successfully sold intricate technical products or tailored solutions to customers
  • included effective communication, offer creation and product presentations
  • confidently express yourself in both German and English
  • be proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ SAP and the ability to perform cost calculation
  • a customers approach with a consultative, solution-focused mindset and can translate their needs into business and product requirements
  • to convey complex information clearly, show loyalty, drive align with high targets and is willing to go the extra mile
